Are you one of those who were fascinated by the story of the hit webtoon Itaewon Class? Here's your chance to learn from the creator himself, as Gwang Jin is set to visit Manila to hold a series of workshops and drawing sessions.

Organized by the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines, the events will see the South Korean artist sharing his journey from creating the original Itaewon Class webtoon to how it was adapted into a television series across multiple venues in Metro Manila.

During Jin's visit, he will hold a "Sketching Beginnings" workshop on July 4 at 1:00 p.m. at the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde and a "Plotlines and Panels" workshop on July 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila.

The latter will include a live drawing session where Jin will showcase how he creates his webtoons.

Afterwards, the cartoonist will appear at this year's Philippine International Comics Festival to have an "Ink & Industries" masterclass on July 6 at 1:30 p.m. at SM Megamall.

And while you're there, you can also visit the interactive space featuring Korean webtoons.

What's even better is that you won't have to break open you wallet to join the events as they are entirely free. However, pre-registration is required.

If you're interested in learning from Jin, you can register through this link. Keep in mind that you can only do so until June 25, after which you will receive a confirmation email on June 26 to notify you if you have secured your slot.

For the PICOF event, while the masterclass is free, you will have to pay the registration fee to enter the area. You can secure your ticket on Ticket2Me.

Itaewon Class follows a young man named Park Sae-ro-yi who opens a bar in the trendy Itaewon district of Seoul, seeking revenge on the powerful food conglomerate Jangga Group, which wronged his father.

Its television adaptation stars Park Seo-joon, Kim Da-mi, Yoo Jae-myung, and Kwon Nara.
