WATCH: The teaser for Kim Seon-hoo's new drama 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha' is here
Fans of #TeamGoodBoy, the wait is almost over! Netflix just dropped its first official teaser for Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, starring Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min-a, and we could already feel butterflies in our stomach!
On July 28, Netflix gave fans a first look on the TV remake of the 2004 South Korean film, Mr. Hong. Described as a "back-and-forth, up-and-down feel-good romance," Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha introduces two characters from two different walks of life.
While the first teaser doesn’t reveal much about the plot, it shows Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min-a), a sophisticated professional who moves from the city to the seaside village of Gongjin, jogging along the Hangang River, and the seaside villager Du-sik (Kim Seon-ho) who enjoys surfing when he's not doing all sorts of odd jobs.
In a report by Soompi, one member of the production team shared that viewers will see "a new side of actress Shin Min Ah." “The character Yoon Hye Jin meets actress Shin Min Ah to complete a character that’s even more charming and lovable. You’ll be able to see a new side of actress Shin Min Ah that you didn’t know about before. Viewers can look forward to it.”
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will be released worldwide on August 28 on Netflix.
