But now, she has captivated the Internet for one particular thing — her pronunciation of the word microwave.
In the video clip below, you could hear the 60-year-old chef say, "But I still need a bit of milk, full-fat, that I've warmed in the microwave."

The bizarre pronunciation left many on social media bewildered, with Twitter user Ashley Reese asking in disbelief "the mee-crow-WHAT?!"

A Twitter reply from Nigella herself intimated that the pronunciation may be just for kicks after all.
“I love this, we deliberately mispronounce words in our house all the time. Such fun,” Twitter user Space Hopper Orbital said.
“We do, too. Exactly that,” Nigella replied.
