LOOK: Heart Evangelista reunites with Kevin Kwan in LA
Heart Evangelista sure is making the most out of her US trip! After meeting Bling Empire cast members Kane Lim and Kelly Mi Li, and #RichMom Chriselle Lim, the actress met up with Kevin Kwan in Beverly Hills, LA over drinks.
"So great catching up with @iamhearte at the @thepeninsulabh," Kwan wrote on his Instagram, sharing photos of him and Evangelista at the Peninsula of Beverly Hills.
Meanwhile, the actress also shared Instagram Stories of the Crazy Rich Asians author, who was showing off his mirrored phone case that he got in the Philippines.
Kwan and Evangelista became friends in 2018 when they collaborated on a Harper’s Bazaar feature that same year.
Ever since they became close, people were speculating if Evangelista would be part of the second installment of Crazy Rich Asians. In one interview, the actress revealed that she did audition for the first film.
“I actually did audition talaga,” Evangelista told Dr. Aivee Teo. “They were already in the last leg of their auditions. And I got a call. And I was like, ‘You know, sige na, might as well do it na,’”
Unfortunately, the role of Aramintha Lee was given to Sonoya Mizuno.
