We have only heart eyes for the ‘Soundmoji'—Facebook Messenger’s newest feature
Without a doubt, emojis have changed the way we make conversations in the digital world. Most of the time, we add these smiley faces to perk up our sentences.
If enjoy chatting with emojis, Facebook Messenger’s newest feature might bring you delight. We’re talking about the Soundmoji, which—you guessed it—allows you to send brief audio clips with emojis in FB convos.
As of this writing, we’ve only found ten Soundmojis such as the applause, laugh, evil laugh, fart, drumroll, cricket, kiss, violin, shocked, and sheep. But don’t fret—the social media app said it will update the library with new ones on a regular basis.
In some countries, musical features are now available in the new section. This includes a calendar date that plays Friday by Rebecca Black, an hourglass that plays The Motto by Drake, and the sun that plays Good Morning by Kanye West.
The launch of the Soundmoji comes ahead of World Emoji Day. To access it, just start a chat via Messenger, click on the smiley face, and then the loudspeaker icon. From there, you'll be treated to different sound clips that can make you and your loved ones smile. Happy chatting!
