WATCH: Lyca Gairanod and Karen Davila are the internet's favorite new meme duo

An unlikely, but welcome, crossover.

Karen Davila and Lyca Gairanod are making rounds online for gushing over the fact that they share the same birthday —and it’s exactly the good vibes that we need right now.

In a video posted on Davila’s YouTube channel on Aug. 14, the journalist chronicles the young singer’s life six years after winning The Voice Kids. At around the 23:55 mark, while the two are wrapping up, Karen asks Lyca when her birthday is, to which she replies “Nov. 21.” 

The celebrated journalist covers her mouth in total shock and exclaims, “Liar, birthday ko yun!”

Lyca looks on with bewilderment before joining in on Karen’s excitement and proclaiming: “Birhday ko po yun! Birthday naming dalawa yun!” They then exchange giddy high-fives.

“Hindi ko alam yun, wait hindi ko alam yun,” Karen continues. “Magkabirthday kami, Scorpio! It means magkaugali kami.”

The less-than-a-minute clip has since gone viral, with the Internet quick to inject their own sense of humor to Karen’s "shookt" reaction and Lyca’s puzzled face. Though it's really their high spirits that gave the moment its life.
