Date for Quezon City's 'Love Laban' Pride Festival 2026 revealed
Get ready to raise your rainbow flags! The date for Quezon City's annual Love Laban Pride Festival 2026 has now been revealed.
Non-profit organization Pride PH announced that the much-anticipated event will take place on June 27.
While details on the time and venue have yet to be disclosed, last year's program took place at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Earlier editions were also hosted at the Quezon City Memorial Circle.
"Balik-lansangan tayo para sa pag-ibig na walang limitasyon at karapatang para sa lahat," the organization wrote.
There's also no news yet on their new lineup of artists and celebrities who will perform at the event.
Last year's event saw an estimated 407,000 attendees. It was hosted by LGBTQIA+ icons such as KaladKaren, Sassa Gurl, Pipay, AC, Dong Pat, Michelle Dee, and many more.
Festival goers enjoyed performances from drag superstar Marina Summers, Reina Hispanoamericana 2024 Dia Maté, Raven Heyres, Femme MNL, Ballroom PH, Barefoot Theater Collaborative, BGYO, and Klarisse De Guzman, among others.
Also in the mix were Drag Race Philippines alumni Precious Paula Nicole, Arizona Brandy, Astrid Mercury, Bernie, Brigiding, Corazon Filipinas, Eva Le Queen, and Captivating Katkat.
One of the organization's main goals for the event is to push for the passage of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity/Expression (SOGIESC) bill, which seeks to protect individuals from discrimination based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression.
"Despite every challenge, we stood proud, loud, and united in our demand for equal rights. We’ve shown the world that the biggest Pride in Asia is proudly FILIPINO—and that there is power in numbers," the organization highlighted in a post.
"Pride is not a secret. It is a living, breathing truth shouted in the streets, worn on our sleeves, and held in our hearts. It is visibility. It is resistance. It is joy," they added.
