'Hamilton' extends Manila run for two more weeks
"There's a million things I haven't done, just so you wait," wrote playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda in his hit musical Hamilton. And if, for you, watching the play is one of the million things you have yet to do, then here's your sign to make that dream come true.
GMG Productions, the host of Hamilton's premiere in the Philippines, has announced that it is extending the musical's Manila run to Nov. 26, which is two weeks after its initial end date on Nov. 12.
"Due to overwhelming demand in the pre-sale, new and final seats have just been released! Now booking through 26 November at TicketWorld! #HamiltonPH #HamiltonINTL" GMG Productions posted on social media.
Tickets to the worldwide famous musical began rolling out through a pre-sale that's exclusive to UnionBank and Citi credit cardholders on April 17 to April 20. Those who signed-up to be waitlisted can get their tickets from April 20 to 23.
The general public, meanwhile, can start booking seats to the musical on April 24 at 11 a.m. through TicketWorld's website. Prices range from P2,645 (Balcony E) to P8,993 (VIP).
If you're planning to take a shot at the coveted tickets, it would be best to create a TicketWorld account prior to purchasing them, according to GMG Productions.
There's a time limit of 10 minutes per transaction, so make sure to keep an eye on the website's timer. It is important to note, too, that you can only purchase a maximum of six tickets per transaction.
In addition, the events organizer highly encourages the use of only one browser or device when booking the tickets.
