Joe Manganiello reveals Deathstroke’s new look in 'Justice League: Snyder Cut'

Apart from Steppenwolf and Jared Leto’s Joker, it appears that Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke will also be sporting a new look for Zack Snyder’s Justice League for HBO Max.

The actor took to Twitter on Friday to reveal the one-eyed assassin’s new hairstyle for the upcoming four-hour cut of the superhero tentpole. The black and white image shows that Manganiello’s Deathstroke is now sporting a mohawk and a different eyepatch.

The actor first appeared as the famous mercenary in the post-credit scene of the theatrical cut of Justice League in 2017. In the scene, Lex Luther summons Deathstroke on his yacht to talk about forming a league of their own (a.k.a. Legion of Doom) "to level the playing filed" following the emergence of Justice League. Like the Clown Prince of Crime who appeared in 2016’s Suicide Quad, it’s still unknown how Slade Wilson will fit into the story.

Last month, we learned that Manganiello also took part in the additional shots for Snyder’s film along with Leto, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher and Amber Heard, who are reprising their roles as Batman, Cyborg and Mera, respectively. The reshoots will allow Snyder to finally complete the Warner Bros.' superhero epic.

To recall, Josh Whedon took the reins on Justice League’s post-production following Snyder’s departure, who had to take a break from work due to his daughter’s death. The storyline drastically changed under Whedon’s watch which also led to a disappointing box office performance, to put it lightly.

The once-mythical Snyder Cut of Justice League will be a four-hour episode limited series that will feature 2.5 hours of unseen footage as well as four to five minutes of additional photography. It will premiere exclusively on HBO Max sometime in 2021.
