Winners of the 2021 Melon Music Awards: IU, BTS, Aespa, and more
The 2021 Melon Music Awards (MMA) wrapped up on Saturday evening, Dec. 4, where it was held virtually through 1theK’s YouTube channel. The artists who released music between Nov. 11, 2020, and Nov. 7, 2021, were eligible to receive an award.
K-pop superstars BTS and singer-actress IU emerged as the biggest winners as they took home five awards respectively. Meanwhile, girl group Aespa took home the Grand Prize for Record of the Year.
