P-pop boyband SB19 and Filipino-American hip-hop superstar Apl.de.Ap have released their new music collab titled Ready.

The song features a blend of pop music influence with electronic music elements, dance music, and Afrobeats, thanks to the longtime collaborator of the Black Eyed Peas, Keith Harris, who also produced the song.

While Apl penned the song with Jean-Baptiste, Vince Nantes, and Denzel, SB19's Pablo and fellow Radkids member Josue contributed to the production by adding final touches and subtle sonic elements.

"We never got the chance to record together in a single booth, but Apl.de.Ap was such a great guy to work with," shared another SB19 member, Justin.

"It's an honor to collaborate with a global superstar of his caliber. We've learned so much from his generosity and creative feedback," he added.

Meanwhile, Stell expressed his excitement about how the entire music process is "very game-changing."

"It was something new for the group. We appreciate the chance to delve into new genres and production styles that come with unfamiliar territory," Stell said.

He continued, "But with Apl.de.Ap at the helm of the creative process, we're just blessed to take on this assignment. It's not every day that you get to work with an artist you look up to."

The collaboration project came after the release of the group's latest single, Moonlight, which was produced by Ian Asher and Terry Zhong.

During their PAGTATAG finale concert, held last May 18 in the Araneta Coliseum, SB19 revealed a documentary film about their PAGTATAG! era will be released in August this year.

Apl, on the other hand, just recently collaborated with former 2NE1 singer Sandara Park on 2 Proud.
