Coke Studio began in Pakistan in 2008 as a TV show, bringing together artists for live music sessions. It quickly became popular, leading to international versions in countries like the Philippines, which debuted in 2017.

Last year, the Coke Studio concert was headlined by K-Pop sensation NewJeans and Filipino pride Zack Tabudlo. They were joined by ALAMAT, Kyle Echarri, Nik Makino, and Illest Morena.

Lauv performed in the Philippines in both 2019 and 2023, holding two concerts in Cebu and Manila.
