All hail the newly crowned queen! Drag Race Philippines has named its first-ever winner: Precious Paula Nicole!

As the Philippines' next drag superstar, Precious will take home a year’s supply of ONE/SIZE Beauty Cosmetics by Patrick Starr, and a cash prize of P1,000,000.

In the season finale, Precious defeated Eva Le Queen in the first round of the Lip Sync Smackdown For The Crown. She then lipsynced against Marina Summers for the title to the tune of Sirena by Gloc-9.

For her first walk the newly crowned queen said, "Life is precious and so are we! Let's continue to inspire and let's continue to love."

Precious won one challenge, the Rusiclal, where she impersonated Regine Velasquez. Throughout the season, she was known as a sweetheart—during the makeover challenge, Precious had to put her younger brother John-John in drag. It was an emotional moment between the two as Precious never expected her brother, who resides in the province, to be part of the show.

Lady Morgana, meanwhile, was crowned the first season's Miss Congeniality.

Drag Race Philippines premiered on Aug. 17 on HBO Go and WOW Presents Plus. A local adaptation of RuPaul's Drag Race, the show was hosted by actor and TV host Paolo Ballesteros. Its judging panel included Jiggy Caliente, Kaladkaren, BJ Pascual, Rajo Laurel, and Jon Santos. It ended with nine episodes and a grand coronation ceremony at the Okada Manila hotel in Pasay City.
