The House of the Dead: Remake is a remade version of the popular arcade zombie shooter first released in 1997. The remake has gotten an update in terms of modern graphics and controls, including gyro aiming, to suit modern gaming standards and current-gen consoles.
The remake stays true to the original gameplay, with local 2-player multiplayer, multiple endings, a photo mode, achievements, armory with unlockable weapons, and hordes of undead monstrosities in a new game mode.
The House of the Dead: Remake will have players assuming the role of AMS agents Thomas Rogan and G as they traverse across a mansion filled with zombies and other infected creatures.
The remake was first announced back in 2021 during the Nintendo Indie Showcase. It was slated to launch sometime in 2021 but was pushed back to 2022.
More gamers can now relive the good old days at the arcade when the zombie shooter arrives on multiple platforms, no tokens required.
The House of the Dead: Remake will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia on April 28, 2022.
