It's a chill December outside, and a Happy Feast of Winter Veil inside Hearthstone with the 19.2 patch.

Hearthstone is a free-to-play digital collectible card game from Blizzard Entertainment available for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. The game uses lore and elements from the World of Wacraft series.

The update dropped last Dec. 16 bringing with it the Old Gods to Battlegrounds, new Heroes with 10 new minions, a limited-time Darkmoon Prizes system, balance updates for Standard and Duels, a new Book of Heroes for both Garrosh and Uther, game improvements, and more

As an additional reward, the game will give all players five Madness at the Darkmoon Faire card packs and 500 gold, as long as they log in before Jan. 18, 2021.

Darkmoon Prizes are powerful spells that appear every four turns and which you may add to your hand. As the game progresses, increasingly powerful Darkmoon Prizes will appear.

The Book of Heroes: Garrosh is the third chapter in Hearthstone’s Book of Heroes and is completely free to all players. The reward for finishing this particular adventure is one Warrior Pack.

Meanwhile, on Jan. 6, 2021, the fourth chapter of the Book of Heroes, Uther—which is also completely free to all players—will reward those who complete it with one Paladin Pack.

And last, but not least, the Winter Veil Tavern Brawls include:

  • Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl
  • Wacky Waxy Winter Veil (coming Dec. 24)
