This Singapore museum is asking for women's butt photos for the sake of art

The Singapore Art Museum is asking female volunteers for butt pictures as part of an ongoing exhibit against the sexualized stereotype of Singaporean women.
In a cheeky post calling for “butticipation,” the Singapore museum showcased photos of the already-displayed derrieres calling for "women of all shapes and shades" to add to the statement art.
“Utilising the posterior, artist Amanda Heng puts forth a playful and defiant counterpoint to the 'Singapore Girl' – a demure image of the Singapore Airlines stewardess which grew to become a uniquely Singapore icon and standard for feminine identity,” they captioned.
The collection is part of the museum's Wikiclicki exhibition that aims to open the conversation on the internet, technology, and linguistics, among other contemporary topics.
Formally titled the Singirl Online Project, artist Amanda Heng wants her collection to see women for their own bodies, rather than what society expects of them through television and the media.
The entire Wikiclicki exhibition is now open at the National Gallery in Singapore Art Museum until July 11, 2021.
