Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto asks the public to stop sending him butt vaccination photos
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto is asking his constituents to stop sending him photos of their butt that received the COVID-19 jab under the city’s vaccination program.
In a Facebook live video, Sotto related that he has received two such photos thus far, as vaccinations are sometimes done on the buttocks if the deltoid area has a tattoo.
"Minsan may nagpapadala sakin, parang nakadalawa na yata, picture nila na binabakunahan sila sa puwet. Ngayon ok lang naman na mabakunahan sa puwet, normal yan medikal naman ang usapan, pero pakiusap wag niyo na pong i-send sa akin," Sotto said
Sotto said he appreciates his constituents sending him photos after getting their vaccines, but asked to refrain from doing so if it involves a butt photo.
"Ang dami ko na pong iniisip, wag niyo na pong idagdag yung puwet niyo sa iniisip ko. Pag sa braso puwede i-send niyo sa akin, pero pag sa iba sa puwet, wag niyo na po i-send," said Sotto.
The local government of Pasig is aiming to inoculate at least 70% of the city’s population, or around 700,000, in 16 vaccination sites.
