Fil-Canadian TikTok star Nurse John enters Forbes' Top Creators for 2026 list
A Pinoy has made it to Forbes' list of Top Creators for 2026!
Filipino-Canadian TikTok star Nurse John ranked 28th on the list, recording his earnings at $7.2 million with total followers of 19.2 million. He also scored 12.97% in average engagement and had an entrepreneurship score of 3.
The business magazine described him as a nurse-turned-comedian who "has turned hospital burnout into a multimillion-dollar stand-up career."
Nurse John, whose real name is John dela Cruz, rose to fame through his viral nursing-related TikToks and has since sold over 250,000 tickets for his hit Short-Staffed Tour in 2024. It had sold-out runs in Australia and New Zealand. In 2026, he sold out 22 shows across Europe.
The list recognized the creators in the online world who "turn fanbases into millions of dollars."
"Social media entrepreneurs are now building hundred-person studios, leading national advertising campaigns and even beating Hollywood at the box office," the report said. "As these new platforms continue to go mainstream and grow, entrepreneurial Forbes Top Creators continue to expand their brands and empires."
Topping the list this year are Mr. Beast ($300 million), Dhar Mann ($65 million), and Steven Bartlett ($52 million).
Forbes ranks social media influencers based on their earnings and total followers and gives an equivalent entrepreneurship score.
