LIST: Winners of BAFTA TV Awards 2024
The winners have been named.
The British Academy Television Awards announced the winners of their 70th ceremony on May 12th, held at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
At the BAFTA TV’s annual ceremony, presented by Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, big shows like The Crown and Black Mirror did not win any award, while Succession only took home one for the Best Supporting Actor category which was given to by Matthew Macfadyen.
In the major acting categories, Timothy Spall of The Sixth Commandment won Best Leading Actor, while Sarah Lancashire of Happy Valley claimed this year’s Best Leading Actress.
The crime drama Top Boy won big with Best Drama, and Netflix’s limited series Class Act bested Succession, Beef, The Bear and The Last of Us under Best International Series category.
