Pop duo Crash Adams brings viral TikTok tunes to life in Manila
Manila was the destination and Canadian pop duo Crash Adams sang their favorite songs in their first show in the Philippines.
Rafaele "Crash" Massarelli and Vince "Adams" Sasso broke into the music scene when a clip for their song Caroline went viral on TikTok and amassed 49 million views.
Signing with Warner Music Canada, the band released their EP California Girl in 2023, containing four songs that helped them steadily gain new fans of their indie pop tunes.
Talking about their trip to Manila with the press, the band felt all the love and the vibes from their Filipino fans thanks to their high energy and hospitality, visibly seen as they traveled across the metro while sharing videos on their social media pages.
Asked about dream collabs, Crash Adams shared that they’re looking forward to working with local indie darling Lola Amour and recent Disney legend Miley Cyrus in the future. The indie band behind Raining in Manila joined them on stage for their debut show at the TriNoma Activity Center last Aug. 17.
Singing to viral TikTok tunes
The duo opened their Manila show with hit song Caroline to the delight of the crowd, which included plenty of kids who discovered them via TikTok and YouTube.
They kept the crowd dancing and singing along as they belted out back-to-back pop songs such as Destination, California Girl, Lucky, and Monsters. Fans were also treated to a cover of Stargazing by Myles Smith.
Crash Adams surprised everyone when they called in Lola Amour and performed together their new song 8 Days and the Pinoy band's Fallen. Fans of both groups can expect an upcoming collab between the artists.
The duo ended their show with their viral hit Give Me a Kiss and the crowd went dancing on their feet as they belted out every word of the rousing song.
Crash Adams is set to release their new song 8 Days this August 23.
