Ashley Tisdale will be starring in a Netflix series inspired by her real-life drama.

As reported by Deadline, Toxic Moms is "is a dark half-hour comedy following a sleep-deprived new mom who’s drawn into a clique of cool, wealthy mothers" tackling the question: "In the isolation of motherhood, how far would you go to taste community?"

The show will be directed by Beef actress Ali Wong and written by Mating Season writer Sabrina Jalees. They will be co-executive producers along with Tisdale.

"I guess we all can be a little toxic,” Tisdale captioned a repost of the Deadline article on Instagram.

Deadline added that the show, albeit an original idea, is inspired by Tisdale's experience as detailed in her viral essay "Breaking Up with My Toxic Mom Group," published by online magazine The Cut in January.

In the essay, Tisdale shared that she "felt a sense of belonging" in a group of celebrity moms, which later exhibited "mean girl behavior," allegedly excluding her from the group's activities.

"In my mom group, I started to notice that certain people would get talked about when they weren't present, and not in a positive way. I realized that there were group text chains that didn't include everyone, which led to cliques forming within the larger group," Tisdale wrote.

She ultimately left after she was uninvited in a hangout for the fourth time.

Tisdale rose to fame for starring as Maddie Fitzpatrick in Disney Channel’s 2005 sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and as Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical franchise. She is also known for voicing Candace Flynn in the 2007 Disney animated series Phineas and Ferb.
