'Grey's Anatomy' renewed for Season 23
Grey's Anatomy has been renewed for another season!
In an Instagram video, the show announced that it will get its 23rd installment on ABC.
The series will star original cast members Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, and James Pickens Jr. as Richard Webber, along with Camilla Luddington as Jo Wilson, Chris Carmack as Atticus “Link” Lincoln, Caterina Scorsone as Amelia Shepherd, and Anthony Hill as Winston Ndugu.
The cast also includes Alexis Floyd as Simone Griffith, Harry Shum Jr. as Benson “Blue” Kwan, Adelaide Kane as Jules Millin, and Trevor Jackson as Wes Bryant.
Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver were confirmed to be exiting from their roles as Owen Hunt and Teddy Altman after the upcoming Season 22 finale.
The show, which debuted in 2005 and created by Shonda Rhimes, is known as the longest-running primetime medical drama on television. As reported by Variety, it was the No. 1 most-streamed series across Disney+ and Hulu in 2005, and was the No. 2 most-streamed series in the US across all platforms.
Grey’s Anatomy will join Season 10 of 9-1-1, Season 2 of 9-1-1: Nashville, Season 6 of Abbott Elementary, and Season 3 of High Potential, in ABC's 2026-2027 lineup.
