StageDoor is bringing back its musical theater rave this October
Want to sing out your favorite songs from Hamilton, Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, and more with a crowd of fellow theater geeks? Mark your calendars, as a musical theater rave is set for October.
StageDoor by GMG Productions announced that its upcoming Musical Theatre Rave will take place on Oct. 24 and 25 at the Globe Auditorium, BGC Arts Center.
"Get ready to sing your heart out to your favorite musical hits and a whole lot more surprises coming your way!" the company's post read.
Earlybird tickets will be available starting Oct. 1, while regular tickets go on sale on Oct. 2, 1 p.m.
In a post last year, StageDoor described the event as a gathering that blends the "high-energy atmosphere" of a rave with the "excitement and creativity" of musical theater. Attendees can even come in their favorite characters from Broadway shows.
The company's first musical theater rave, held in October 2024, saw the crowd dancing to hits from Hamilton, SIX, High School Musical, Camp Rock, The Lion King, Moulin Rouge!, Wicked, Mamma Mia, Mean Girls, Frozen, Rent, and The Greatest Showman.
Apart from the upcoming rave, StageDoor is also hosting a block screening of Hamilton—where fans can sing along—on Oct. 3 at BGC Central Square Cinema for P750 per ticket (inclusive of admission, popcorn, and bottled water).
The company also hosts quiz nights and workshops.
