Published Feb 12, 2025 6:48 pm

Excited to watch the upcoming season of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition? You won't have to wait too long as the historic show will begin to air starting March.

On their social media account, PBB announced that the new season will premiere on GMA on March 9.

"If this doesn't top all of TV History, I don't know what will! Taas kamay ng mga excited na para sa pinakamaningning na pagsisimula sa loob ng Bahay Ni Kuya!" the caption read.

PBB Celebrity Edition Collab marks the show's 20th anniversary and will be the first time that ABS-CBN will welcome Kapuso artists to Bahay ni Kuya.

The collaboration promises to deliver "unforgettable moments" as Kapamilya and Kapuso stars live inside the PBB house.

Gabbi Garcia was recently announced as the show's newest host, joining PBB mainstays Robi Domingo and Bianca Gonzalez for the upcoming season.

During her announcement, she also revealed that she actually auditioned for PBB teen edition back in 2012.

"Fast forward to 2025—looks like I was meant to host it instead! Or who knows? Maybe there's still more in store," she wrote.

The PBB Celebrity Edition Collab is another milestone in the growing partnership between the two network giants. Previously, they collaborated on the primetime series Unbreak My Heart, which featured both Kapamilya and Kapuso stars. GMA 7 is also currently airing ABS-CBN's noontime program It's Showtime.

PBB is a reality survival TV show that first aired in 2001. Successful housemates must pass all kinds of challenges inside the house for 100 days to be hailed as the "Big Winner." Its last season premiered in 2024, with Fyang Smith as the big winner.
