Anetra concluded her RuPaul’s Drag Race journey as first runner-up.

Giving her all in her “Lotus” performance, the Filipina drag queen had a final showdown against Sasha Colby in the “Lip Sync for the Crown” segment, with Amii Stewart’s 1979 classic Knock on Wood playing in the background. Colby ended up winning the top prize in its 15th season.

Anetra has a mix of Filipino, German, Japanese, and Puerto Rican heritage. She showcased her roots in the “Crystal Ball” challenge of the reality show’s ninth episode, featuring the Philippine flag on her sleeve.

“On this runway, we're representing mom and dad on both arms. We have on my father's side, the Filipino and Japanese flags," she said.

Other than Anetra, Aura Mayari also proudly represented the Philippines in this season of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she finished 11th. In her final walk, she made a bold statement by wearing a black shimmering gown with the words “Drag is Not a Crime.”

"Drag Is Not A Crime! Be loud and be proud!" she wrote in her tweet.
