'RuPaul's Drag Race: Werq the World' tour is coming to Manila this September
Queens, get ready to start your enginges because 'RuPaul’s Drag Race: Werq the World' 2023 Tour is making a pit stop in Manila this Sept. 3.
Voss Events and World of Wonder announced on social media that the tour will be having shows in United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
For its Asia leg, the queens will visit Tokyo, Japan first on August 31. They will then head to Manila, Philippines at the World Trade Center in Pasay on Sept. 3 before going to Taipei on Sept. 5 and Singapore on Sept. 7.
According to the poster, the line-up for this event varies per country, but select finalists from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 15 will be joining the tour.
Pre-sale for the event will start on March 9, 10 a.m. local time and public on-sale will be on March 10 at 10 a.m. local time. Those who wish to join the pre-sale may sign up on Voss Events' website. and provide their name, email, phone number, and country.
This will be the second iteration of the tour in Manila. In February 2020, Drag Race alumnas Kim Chi, Detox, Plastique Tiara, Aquaria, Monet X Change, and Violet Chachki performed at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
