Filipino drag queens Minty Fresh, Marina Summers, Divine Divas grace RuPaul's DragCon LA 2023
Drag Race Philippines queens are representing the country at RuPaul's Drag Con LA 2023.
The two-day gathering of drag queens across RuPaul's Drag Race international franchises is held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from May 12 to 13.
Filipino queens who attended the latest Drag Con include Drag Race Philippines alumni Precious Paula Nicole, Marina Summers, Eva Le Queen, Minty Fresh, Viñas DeLuxe, Turing, Gigi Era, Corazon, and Prince.
Xilhouete is also scheduled to appear but has not posted anything on social media as of writing.
Minty was seen strutting down the Pink Carpet in a sparkly large sequin-chained sleeve gown with an open slit. She was later seen posing with RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 runner-up Crystal Methyd and Season 13 finalist Daya Betty.
Meanwhile, Marina posed for a photo out-of-drag with Jorgeous and Miss Fiercalicious. This is in response to an inside joke among Drag Race fans that they all look like the same person.
Precious likewise took snaps with her fellow winners Sasha Colby (Season 15), Bianca Del Rio (Season 6), and Chad Michaels (All Stars 1).
Other "Ru Girls" of Filipino descent who are scheduled to appear at RuPaul's Drag Con LA 2023 include Anetra, Aura Mayari, Jiggly Caliente, Kimmy Couture, Manila Luzon, Ongina, and Stephanie Prince.
RuPaul's Drag Race is an Emmy-winning reality competition show for drag queens. Its Drag Race Philippines franchise premiered in August 2022.
