On their respective Instagram pages on Friday, July 28, the former couple shared a teaser showing silhouettes of a man and a woman who appear to be the veteran stars. An instrumental version of the Megastar's song Dear Heart plays in the background of the video as it flashes a particular date and location of an upcoming event.
While ShaGab didn't mention each other's names in their posts, fans speculated that they are set to reunite soon as their relationship bloomed in the 1981 film Dear Heart. The movie follows the story of April (played by Sharon), a young engaged woman infatuated with an attractive but confused young man named Jimmy (played by Gabby), who is later revealed to be her fiance's half-brother.
Cuneta and Concepcion tied their knot in 1984—three years after the premiere of Dear Heart. They welcomed their daughter, actress-host KC Concepcion a year later, but got legally separated in 1987. Their marriage was annulled in 1993.
Cuneta is now married to former senator Kiko Pangilinan, while Concepcion is now with Genevieve Gonzales.
