‘Fear Street Part 2’ trailer drops

After the first film of the horror trilogy Fear Street debuted last week, Netflix has released the trailer for the second installment that turns camp into a big nightmare.

The trailer of Fear Street Part Two: 1978 shows that the summer activities at Camp Nightwing are quickly disturbed as another Shadysider is possessed to kill others. The second installment will focus on the axe-wielding monster Nightwing Killer seen in the first movie as Shadysiders fight for survival. 

A  group of victims was told, “One way or another, you’re gonna die tonight.”

The second part will arrive on Netflix on July 9.

Last week, the series debuted on Netflix, starting in 1994, when a group of teenage friends accidentally encounter the ancient evil force responsible for the slays in their hometown of Shadyside for three centuries. The group found themselves being pursued as the next target.

The finale of the trilogy will be released a week after the second part is released. It will go back to 1666 where the origins of Sarah Fier’s curse will finally be revealed.

The Netflix trilogy is based on the series of R.L. Stine books written in the late ‘80s and ‘90s. 

As of writing, the first film of the trilogy Fear Street: 1994 currently sits at 9th place on the Top 10 list on Netflix Philippines.
