Ayaw mag-work yarn? WFH employees celebrate Microsoft Teams outage with memes
Work from home in the Philippines and elsewhere came to a standstill as the go-to office communications platform Microsoft Teams experienced technical issues in the morning.
Thousands of users, including in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, China, India, and Taiwan could not send messages and use other features on the app for about three hours. The Microsoft Teams website also returned with a text that read, "operation failed with an unexpected error."
As of 12:13PM, Microsoft said Teams has started to recover.
During their downtime, employees resorted to the tried and true to cope with the situation: memes, memes, and memes. And the consensus is they were, apparently, happy with the situation. In the wise words of the Gen Z, "Ayaw mag-work yarn?"
Here are some of the best (and unironically relatable) entries about the Microsoft Teams snafu.
