The 2005 musical In The Heights is set to become a full-length feature film—and they’ve released the first eight minutes to hype up fans.

With music and lyrics by famed Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and helmed by Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu, the film takes place over the course of three days and centers around bodega owner Usnavi de la Vega and whether or not he should leave behind the community that honed him.

The film’s first eight minutes showcases lead acts Usnavi (Anthony Ramos), Benny (Corey Hawkins), Nina Rosario (Leslie Grace), and Vanessa (Melissa Barrera) in the colorful Dominican neighborhood of Washington Height in New York City and performing the opening song of the same name.

Miranda also makes a special appearance as a piragua (shaved ice) vendor.

In The Heights is set to drop in US theaters and for streaming exclusively on HBO Max on June 10.
