Regé-Jean Page is reportedly in talks to return to the next season of Bridgerton.
After bidding adieu to the show for its second season, sources told the The Sun on Saturday, June 18 that the English actor Regé-Jean Page, who played Simon, the Duke of Hastings in the hit Netflix period drama series, had been in talks recently with the show’s higher ups.
The British paper said that "nothing has been formally agreed yet" but who would not be excited to see His Grace on screen again?
As both Page and Jonathan Bailey, who played Anthony Bridgerton contributed to the show’s breakthrough in season 1 and 2, netizens are still hoping to see them in the upcoming season.
Bridgerton’s third season will focus on the love life of secret writer Penelope Featherington.

According to a report by Inside Nova, an insider explained how ‘things are very up in the air’ for the English actor but will surely be an exciting year for him, ‘without a doubt.’ Rege-Jean’s departure in season two led to speculation of his possible role to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond.
Page will next star as Denny Carmichael in the upcoming movie The Gray Man, will be showing in theaters on July 15 and will be available on Netflix on July 22.
