Cher, Tyla, Lisa to headline 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Girl power! After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is making a grand return, and it’s bigger than ever with its first-ever all-women lineup.
Set on Tuesday, Oct. 15, in Brooklyn, New York, living pop icon Cher will headline the show’s list of performers.
“[Y]ou can't have a fashion show without the mother of fashion herself—@Cher,” Victoria's Secret announced on Instagram with a video of the superstar singing her 90’s hit Believe.
Joining her onstage is Grammy-winning South African artist Tyla, known for fusing amapiano and pop music in her hit tracks like Water.
“[I]’m thrilled to be performing on this nostalgic and legendary stage. What’s even more exciting is the celebration of diversity, showcasing a broader range of beauty, which makes this moment truly special,” the afrobeat singer said in an interview.
Completing the all-women lineup is BLACKPINK’s Lisa, just in time for her new phase as a solo artist following the release of Rockstar.
“[I]’m so excited to be part of its return with so many incredible and powerful women being part of the show! It’s going to be a great night,” the K-pop icon said in a press statement.
Victoria’s Secret announced the runway’s comeback in May 2024, following the airing of its part-documentary and fashion show event, The Tour.
In 2019, the lingerie clothing line announced the annual show’s cancellation after facing backlash for its lack of inclusivity.
Victoria’s Secret has yet to release the complete model lineup for the 2024 fashion show.
