By AYIE LICSI Published Aug 24, 2022 4:41 pm

While you can stream Drag Race Philippines at home, it's more fun to watch the reality competition with fellow fans. Who wouldn't want to laugh with others as the queens take on hilarious mini challenges and hear shady comments when there's drama on screen?

To make the next time you watch the local spinoff more fun, you can catch viewing parties all over the metro—you can even see some of the show's drag queens at these events. Here are some queer spaces that are holding Drag Race Philippines viewing parties you and your friends can go to.

Nectar Nightclub

Found at the heart of BGC, LGBTQ+ nightclub Nectar gathers drag fans to watch the reality show, with an after-party happening later. Doors open at 9 pm with a P500 door charge inclusive of one cocktail.

ICYDK, some of the queens on the show—Minty Fresh, Xilhouete, Marina Summers, Viñas Deluxe, Prince, and Eva Le Queen—are Nectar residents.

Nectar Nightclub is located at The Fort Strip, 5th Ave. corner 26th Street in Fort Bonifacio. For table reservations, contact +63 917 542 8831.

Bekenemen The Live Ganap!

For fans in Quezon City, you can catch Drag Race Philippines at Food for the Gays (FFTG) Cafe. They usually hold their watch parties on Fridays, so you not only get to see the new episode but also Untucked.

You can send them a DM on Facebook or Instagram for reservations.

Drag brunch at Butterboy

Is the nightclub not your vibe? How about enjoying a drag brunch with performances from the queens in the show?

Each week, Butterboy is opening its doors for Drag Brunch and MerienDrag featuring local drag queens—because croissants and other pastries pair well with sickening performances.

On Aug. 27, Turing and Marina Summers will rock the Butter Hall alongside Naia and Alpha Venti. Tickets are already sold out, but you can stay tuned to their Facebook and Instagram pages for upcoming shows.
