TWICE’s Chaeyoung to skip Bulacan shows due to health concerns
Chaeyoung of K-pop group TWICE won’t be able to take part in their upcoming shows in the Philippines due to health problems.
Her agency JYP Entertainment announced the news in a statement on Sept. 29.
“We regret to inform you that Chaeyoung is unable to participate in the upcoming TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ Bulacan concert due to health issues,” it began.
“We convey this unfortunate news with a heavy heart as we know everyone was eagerly anticipating the show,” the management continued, noting that their decision “was made after much consideration to protect the health of the artist.”
“Thank you again for your anticipation and support for TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ – Bulacan, and we apologize for having to share this news once again,” JYPE said.
The Korean girl group is now in the Philippines for their two-night concert that will take place on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
TWICE consists of nine members: Dahyun, Nayeon, Momo, Jihyo, Jeongyeon, Sana, Mina, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. They made their debut in 2015 and are best known for their hit tracks What Is Love?, The Feels, Moonlight Sunrise, and Set Me Free, among others.
