WATCH: GOT7’s Bambam reveals he had a crush on TWICE’s Nayeon

Looks like somebody had a crush on a fellow idol!

In the latest episode of BamBam’s Home that aired on March 17, GOT7 member BamBam was joined by his longtime friend, Jihyo of TWICE. In the almost 18-minute episode, they looked back on how they became close 13 years ago when they were still trainees at JYP Entertainment.

Jihyo teased the GOT7 member that he was “shorter” than her during that time, and thought to herself, “What is this baby?” Although of the same age, BamBam called Jihyo noona, or older female friend in Korean, because of their height difference. 

As they recalled how their friendship grew, BamBam said: “I think I talked with Nayeon more often…” He then revealed that he used to have a one-sided crush on her.

Jihyo also exclaimed, “Bambam’s first love. You’re really hiding nothing. That’s so cool of you, BamBam.” 

“I was 14 years old [by Korean reckoning]. It’s natural [to have a crush], right?” BamBam replied. Jihyo agreed saying that her co-member is "really pretty."

While there's not much news about BamBam's dating status, it seems that he is currently single—and happy.

Talking about marriage on Master In The House (2023), BamBam said: "We don’t have much free time for ourselves, and in the case of idols, we’re always in hotels. Because of that, I don’t want to have my life taken away from me by anyone from now on."

"I want to be really happy on my own, and I don’t want to live my life walking on eggshells around someone."

BamBam is a member of the K-pop group GOT7. The group left JYP Entertainment when their exclusive contract expired on January 19, 2021.

As an individual artist, he announced that he will be releasing his solo album, Sour & Sweet this coming March 28.
