WATCH: BINI Jhoanna fulfills dream of delivering weather forecast in Los Angeles

Published Apr 25, 2026 4:51 pm

BINI's Jhoanna Robles has ticked something off her bucket list!

The girl group member got to deliver an impromptu weather report for Fox 11 Los Angeles morning news show Good Day LA.

Weather anchor Maria Quiban took a pause from reporting the news to give way to Jhoanna.

"I've been talking to BINI, and you know what, I'd like to fulfill some bucket list stuff. I think one of them wants to do a little bit of weather," Maria said, before pulling Jhoanna into frame.

The anchor then showed Jhoanna how things worked before she gave space for the singer. Jhoanna appeared nervous at first, but Maria helped her get into the groove.

Maria then said a little Tagalog, "So she's a natural talaga!"

The singer got to discuss the rainfall, wind, and high temperature advisories for the day.

"In Indio where Coachella happened, [it's] 91 [degrees Farenheit]," Jhoanna said, surprised.

Maria then asked her about how the weather was when BINI performed at Coachella. "It was hot, but it was also very windy so we didn't really feel the hotness. But we brought hotness to the stage," Jhoanna answered.

After the segment, Jhoanna wrote "HAHAHAHAHA NAKAKAHIYA" on X.

The BINI leader has always been interested in broadcasting. In 2023, she got to work in TeleRadyo's Sakto and later in 2024 as a Star Patroller for TV Patrol.

BINI served as guests on Good Day LA. They talked about being the first Filipino girl group to perform in Coachella. According to the Fox 11 report, the Filipino girl group garnered more than 29 million views on the festival livestream, coming in second to headliner Justin Bieber in the first weekend.

"It was such a surreal experience. We're just so grateful and proud to be able to showcase our talent on that stage," BINI's Stacey said.
