BTS’ V shares life updates in the military ahead of discharge
BTS’ V shared never-before-seen photos of him in military service, a few months before he gets discharged.
The K-pop star shared a glimpse of his life recently via an Instagram carousel post.
“I came to report Sergeant Kim's survival.! It's D-107. The scary winter is over, and I'll take care of yourself in the warm spring and get ready for it!” his caption read, as translated from Korean to English by Instagram.
The carousel post included photos of him holding a flower bouquet, a mirror selfie showing his buzz cut, gym photo with his friend, pictures with singer Park Hyo Shin, and snaps of him wearing a military uniform.
V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, made his solo debut with an album Layover in September 2023, three months before his military enlistment in December.
In 2024, he released a collaboration song Winter Ahead with Hyo Shin, and a single dubbed FRI(END)S. His recent release was a cover of White Christmas with Bing Crosby in December of the same year, which featured his late dog, Yeontan.
He is expected to be discharged in June of this year, alongside fellow BTS members RM, Jung Kook, Suga, and Jimin.
