Production for Vagabond season 2 is reportedly underway, and they are set to continue filming in the Philippines. This means we'll soon be finally able to see what's next to Cha Dal-gun and Go Hae-ri!

Former Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson recently revealed to the media that the second season of the Korean series Vagabond will be filmed in the Philippines.

“Meron, ‘yung series na very popular sa Korea, Vagabond; Itutuloy dito. Nakatapos na sila, tapos ‘yung continuation dito na sa Pilipinas [kukunan],” Singson said in his interview during the grand opening of the latest branch of his restaurant.

"Tinatapos muna ‘yung istorya para may susundan sila. Unlike the others na kapag gumawa, hinuhulaan kung saan susunod, ‘yun ayaw nila, gusto nila kumpleto na ‘yung istorya," he added, also revealing that he might serve as one of the producers of the show.

“Baka kasama [ako] sa production dahil niyayaya nila ako,” he said.

Starring Lee Seung-gi and Bae Suzy, the 2019 action series Vagabond follows the story of a stuntman, Cha Dal-gun who is on a mission to investigate the plane crash that resulted in his nephew’s death. He teamed up with Go Hae-ri, an agent from National Intelligence Service to investigate the accident, which led them to uncover conspiracies and corruption in the process.

It bagged five wins in the 2019 SBS Drama Awards, including Best Couple, Top Excellence Awards for male and female in a miniseries, and the Hallyu Contents Award.
