Ogie Diaz said he isn’t angry with Bea Alonzo after she filed cyberlibel cases against him and Cristy Fermin.

On his YouTube vlog posted on May 6, the showbiz reporter said he didn’t feel anything negative when he caught wind of the news and even understands how she feels.

"Kung feeling niya nasaktan natin siya, karapatan niya ‘yun,” he said. "Ewan ko, pero wala akong naramdamang galit or hate.”

He noted that he has yet to receive a copy of Alonzo’s complaint.

"Ayun naman po ay hihintayin namin at siyempre wala naman kaming choice,” he said, “kundi idepensa ang aming panig at kumuha rin ng abogado para maipagtanggol ang aming sarili.”

Diaz noted that it wasn’t the first time that he faced such a lawsuit in his career. "Noong araw na wala pang vlogs-vlogs, Diyos ko,” he said. “Pero napagtatagumpayan naman natin.”

He pointed out that despite such issues, his contributions to showbiz cannot be denied.

“Ayaw na naming magbuhat ng bangko at isa-isahin yung mga nagagawa naming kabutihan at kabayanihan para sa mga artista,” he said. "Lalo na ‘yung mga nagpo-promote dito."

According to Diaz, it’s “normal” for the likes of him to have “bashers” and is very much part of his job.

“Ang lagi nga naming sinasabi dito, na kapag wala na kaming bashers, eh, hindi na kami relevant,” he said. "Basta patuloy lang po kaming maghahatid sa inyo ng saya. Ganoon na lang, 'di ba?"

On May 2, Alonzo filed cyberlibel raps against Diaz and Fermin. According to her complaint, she became a victim of “false, malicious, and damaging information.”

Her breakup with Dominic Roque has been a hot topic, including in Diaz and Fermin’s shows.

Alonzo and Roque, when they officially announced their breakup, noted that there were people who confirmed their split "without consent" and how others created "ridiculous" stories about it.

Roque, in another statement, also called out Fermin for her “malicious innuendos" regarding his sexuality. He said his lawyers are reviewing her reports and may take action.
