Taylor Sheesh on her first billboard: 'Dati lang mina-manifest ko 'to'
Taylor Sheesh got her first billboard, proving she's fearless and has a smile that could light up the whole town!
On her social media accounts, Taylor Swift's impersonator Mac Coronel, shared the power of manifestation while sharing pictures of herself posing in front of her first billboard for an ointment brand.
"Dati lang mina-manifest ko to. Ngayon meron naaaa! Thank you so much Katinko," she said.
Katinko, on their part, also extended its gratitude to the Pinay drag performer.
"Thank you so much for allowing us to be your KA-team, Mac Coronel aka Taylor Sheesh. You really deserve that billboard. Sheesh the pain away!" the brand commented.
Fans and fellow drag queens like Drag Race Philippines Season 1 contestant Turing sent her congratulatory messages.
"SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!" Turing wrote.
"Na-manifest na! I LOVE IT!" M1ss Jade So of DRPH Season 2 said.
Last Sept. 2, Mac was featured on the ABC News program Good Morning America, which showed the viral TikTok videos of her impersonating international superstar Taylor Swift in a mall this year.
Mac has been a hardcore Swiftie since 2009, the moment he heard Fifteen on the radio when he was about the same age. “Nakarelate ako sa song since it’s about falling in love with someone at a young age, then narealize mo na ‘di pa kayo ready. Nagkaroon ako ng crush and nakarelate ako sa song,” he told PhilSTAR L!fe.
“Pinakinggan ko ‘yung ibang songs niya after kasi nacurious ako. Halos lahat ng mga kanta niya, nakarelate ako,” he said, pointing out that Swift seems to have a song “for every situation”—from love and relationships to women empowerment, bullying, and life," he added.
Mac has been a drag performer since 2017. She birthed to Taylor Sheesh last year after a fan listening party in Bonifacio Global City.
“Pumunta ako dun na naka-Taylor Swift drag as audience para makisaya lang, tapos ‘yung organizer, random na lumapit sa akin and asked me to perform. So I said yes and parang nagkaroon ng surprise performance from me,” he recalled, adding that he has since decided to embrace the persona in most of her drag shows.
