Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh debuts new name
Shiloh, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has debuted her new name a year after she legally dropped Pitt from her last name.
According to Variety, the 19-year-old choreographed a dance performance using the name "Shi Joli" for singer-songwriter Luella's live performance of her new single Naïve at the launch of French designer Isabel Marant’s new collection in Los Angeles.
PEOPLE Magazine also reported that the press release for the event showed her new moniker in the choreography credit.
The affair was held at Oliver House, a private venue overlooking the Silver Lake reservoir. Per Variety, Shiloh joined the cocktail party and then hung out with the dancers at the residence.
This came a year after Shiloh filed a petition to drop Pitt from her name when she turned 18. In July 2024, she had the Los Angeles Times announce her decision in a newspaper.
She's not the only child of the former couple that has dropped the surname "Pitt." Their youngest daughter Vivienne also had her name appear as "Vivienne Jolie" in the playbill for the Broadway musical The Outsiders .
Pitt and Jolie reached a divorce settlement in December 2024.
The two became a couple after co-starring in the 2005 movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They share six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; Shiloh, 19; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16.
In 2016, Jolie accused Pitt of raping her on a private plane. She also claimed Pitt "physically and verbally" assaulted her and their kids and said he was already abusive before the plane incident. This was when the Eternals star filed for divorce.
They were ruled legally single in 2019.
