Andrea Brillantes has moved on and has already forgiven her ex-Ricci Rivero.
Speaking to ABS-CBN News in the sideliners during her contract signing with the network, the Kapamilya actress shared that she no longer has ill feelings for her ex following their split.
Nakailang buwan na bago niyo nalaman lahat, tapos na ako,” she told the media.
She went on to reveal how she went to the stages of grief, except depression. “On the way na ako matapos sa lahat ng stages of grief.
Pero thank you Lord kasi hindi ko po pinagdaanan 'yung depression,” she added.
The Drag You and Me star shared she isolated herself to reflect on their split for one week.
She also said that the process paved the way for her to get to know herself better, such as understanding her emotions.
“Mas doon ko nakilala 'yung sarili ko, 'yung emotions ko. Masasabi ko pong nawawala talaga ang galit. Time heals everything. Thank you, Lord,” she said.
The 20-year-old actress-entrepreneur also mentioned how the people around her, including her friends and family, helped her heal from pain and anger with their love and support.
It is what it is e, so, whatever,” she said.
“Ang laki-laki ng mundo, ang saya-saya mabuhay para lang mag-waste ng galit,” she added, clarifying that she does not dismiss those people who had different experience in the same situation.
With this, Andrea said she is sure to have forgiven her ex despite what went wrong in their relationship.
“In my heart, natanggap ko na lahat and willing to move forward with my life na po ako. So yes, I think napatawad ko na siya,” she said.
Andrea and Ricci started dating in April 2022, until breakup rumors sparked in May this year, with the latter addressing it via a lengthy cryptic tweet. Ricci said he is owning up "to the mistake of not making my relationship status public."
He also clarified that the split was not because of a third party but due to mounting problems in the relationship.
