Bangs Garcia now officially a British citizen
Bangs Garcia announced that she’s now a British citizen.
The actress excitedly shared her life update in a new Instagram post. “A year late, but I’m glad I finally had time to sort out my citizenship this year,” she wrote in the caption, adding that she has “just pledged allegiance to King Charles III and the United Kingdom.”
“Therefore, I’m officially a British citizen today,” she continued, adding an emoji of the UK flag.
The local star has been married to Filipino-British Lloyd Birchmore since 2016. They tied the knot three times: a civil wedding in London in September 2016, a church wedding in Boracay in January 2017, and a beach wedding in Boracay in the same month.
In a Facebook post, she said they consider Jan. 24, 2017 as their official wedding date as it was the “first time [they] stated their vows to each other, and in front of [their] families, relatives, and friends at the beach where [they] first met.”
Bangs and Lloyd share two children: Amelia (born in December 2017) and Isabella (born in July 2020).
