'Queen for a reason': Madonna falls on stage during performance, but quickly recovers
Pop star Madonna made the rounds on social media after falling off her chair during her show in Seattle.
Madonna, 65, was at the Climate Pledge Arena performing her 1986 hit Open Your Heart. The choreography included one of her backup dancers dragging the chair while she’s singing.
The dancer later lost footing, sliding and hitting the floor along with her.

Madonna then carried on with her singing even if she was still on the floor. She then slowly stood up, while her dancer dragged the chair away.
Several fans shared the clip of the incident on social media and commended Madonna for handling the situation gracefully.
“I wish I had Madonna’s energy,” one user said.
“What a legend!” another one added.
“Many should learn from her attitude instead of judging that dancer who tripped while running in heels,” one user wrote on X.
“She's the Queen for a reason,” another user said.
The pop icon's ongoing The Celebration Tour kicked off in England in October 2023 and is set to conclude in April 2024 in Mexico. It's considered her first retrospective tour, highlighting her more than four-decade-long recording career.
The tour initially faced complications before its run as Madonna had fallen ill with a "serious bacterial infection" that landed her in an intensive care unit for several days. The dates of her concert shows were rescheduled after her recovery.
Madonna, dubbed the Queen of Pop, rose to fame in the ‘80s. She’s known for the hits Material Girl, Like a Virgin, La Isla Bonita, Crazy for You, and Hung Up, among others.
