BLACKPINK announces comeback and 2025 world tour
Ready your wallets, Blinks: BLACKPINK is returning with a world tour in 2025.
YG Entertainment founder and producer Yang Hyun Suk shared some of its plans for 2025 on Sunday, July 22, revealing that BLACKPINK will have its highly anticipated comeback and world tour.
Other artists and groups that will go on a world tour next year are the boy group TREASURE and the rookie girl group BABYMONSTER.
BLACKPINK, composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé made their Born Pink world tour from October 2022 to September 2023, which included a two-night show at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan in March 2023.
Its film version will premiere in cinemas starting July 31 in celebration of its eighth anniversary.
The group will also host a special fan sign event on August 8, which will be limited to 88 participants. To join, fans need to share a post expressing their love and support for BLACKPINK on Weverse using the hashtag #OUR_AREA_WITH_BLINK.
Only one post is allowed for every person and will be exclusively available to BLINK Membership members.
Further details regarding the specific time and location of the special event will be individually sent to the winners.
Debuted on the K-pop scene in 2016, the group is best known for their hit songs How You Like That, Kill This Love, Shut Down, and Typa Girl, among others.
The quartet also made their solo debuts in previous years. They are currently under separate agencies for their solo activities: Odd Atelier (Jennie), LLOUD (Lisa), Blissoo (Jisoo), and THEBLACKLABEL (Rosé).
