It’s official: 2NE1 is coming back!

YG Entertainment founder and executive producer Yang Hyun Suk confirmed the news late Sunday night, July 21.

In the video announcement, Hyun Suk shared that all 2NE1 members—CL, Dara, Minzy, and Park Bom—said that they’d like to do a concert to commemorate their 15th anniversary, which was celebrated last May.

“We caught up and happily discussed making it all happen within this year,” he said.

The world tour will kick off in Seoul this October and will have stops in Osaka and Tokyo from November to December before continuing through 2025.

“I think this concert will be quite special; It resonates with those who grew up with 2NE1’s music,” he added.

Rumors of their comeback began in May after insiders reported that the group’s leader, CL, had a “secret meeting” with the YG Entertainment executive, to which YG Entertainment briefly addressed, “It was not an official company meeting, and we cannot confirm further details at this time.”

In June, the group had an "extremely meaningful" conversation with the executive producer, further fueling comeback rumors.

The second-gen K-pop girl group marked its 15th debut anniversary on May 17 with new group photos.

They also performed on stage together at the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival—six years after their disbandment in November 2016. Following that, the members have been busy with their solo careers under different agencies.

They are known for their hit songs including FireI Don't CareI Am The BestUgly, Can’t Nobody, and Come Back Home
