Kylie Padilla confirms she's in a new relationship

Kylie Padilla confirmed she’s in a new romance with a non-showbiz boyfriend.  

The actress opened up about her new relationship during her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Tuesday, July 16. 

“I am taken,” Kylie said, all smiles. She also confirmed that it was the guy she was referring to in her now-unavailable Instagram post that was captioned, “Through his lens.”

When the “King of Talk” Boy Abunda asked how she found her new love, Kylie revealed, “Pinaglaban ko rin ‘to.”

"Ba't lahat nalang? Ba't pinapahirapan ako?" she said, laughing. "I think of everything in life, may ituturo siya sa 'yo. There's a way for you to grow in everything na nangyayari sa 'yo and you just keep going until you die, right? So meron din akong lesson dito sa relationship ko ngayon, and it taught me to just trust myself more talaga and not be too scared to be myself." 

Kylie also shared that her new beau is not from showbiz, which she said allowed her to have a “balanced life” between her work and personal life. 

“The best thing I love about it is may balance na ako ngayon from my work life to my personal life. In my work life, artista ako. It's a different world, very different world," she said. 

"And when I'm with my partner, I'm normal again, I'm just Kylie. I'm the Kylie that grew up in Australia, I'm the Kylie na nanay lang ako, and, you know, I do normal nanay things," she added. “I loved that.” 

She continued, "There's no trying to keep up a certain image with a partner.”

She further shared how her new romance taught her to acknowledge and embrace her imperfections.

"Na-reveal sa 'kin 'yung mga ugali ko and 'yung mga ayokong tanggapin kasi, you know, everyone has ego,” she began. 

“And in some way, mas hinarap ko siya ngayon this time 'yung mga imperfections ko kasi nagko-connect siya sa pagiging nanay ko, you know, me as a person. And this relationship really—tinuruan ako din," she said. 

“I love learning, growing talaga is my favorite part of life, lahat talaga meron kang wisdom na makukuha. In this relationship, I'm really grateful—I'm much more humble now,” she added.
