Another couple has reportedly broken up.

Multiple reports said that BTS' V and BLACKPINK's Jennie parted ways days before the former is set to enlist in the military on Dec. 11.

While the two K-pop stars have never confirmed nor denied their relationship, rumors that they were seeing each other surfaced after a post claimed they were spotted on a holiday together on Jeju island, South Korea in May last year. At that time, Jennie was rumored to be dating Big Bang’s G-Dragon.

Jennie's agency, YG Entertainment, spoke up about the issue, saying, “We have nothing to say (regarding this matter)...We will inform you if we have a different response to share.”

Another picture of Jennie and V surfaced in August 2022, sparking debate about its authenticity. In the mirror selfie, Jennie can be seen standing beside V as he uses his phone.

YG Entertainment again spoke up and claimed someone hacked Jennie's iCloud. In a statement, they said they had requested the police to investigate the situation.

“YG has been consistently monitoring the matter and filed a lawsuit in September after collecting information,” it wrote.

They added, “There have been indiscriminate rumors, criticism, personal attacks, sexual harassment, and violations of personal life sparked by those private photographs... we are now announcing that we will take legal action and correct the situation.”

In May 2023, a video of what appeared to be V and Jennie walking hand in hand in Paris circulated online. V was there to attend Céline Cannes Dinner, while Jennie was also in Cannes to promote her now-defunct HBO series, The Idol.

Their agencies, HYBE and YG Entertainment, only said "It is difficult to check (regarding the matter)."

V will be enlisting for his mandatory military service, along with fellow BTS members Jungkook, Jimin, and RM on Monday, Dec. 11, his agency BigHit said.

YG Entertainment, meanwhile, said that all BLACKPINK members have renewed their contracts.
