Miss Universe 2025 Fátima Bosch allegedly walks out midway through Telemundo interview

Controversies continue to hound the Miss Universe 2025 pageant.

In the Sunday episode of Pica y se Extiende on American Spanish-language television network Telemundo, Miss Universe 2025 Fátima Bosch allegedly left the studio midway through taping after her initial interview segment.

According to a report by media outlet De Último Minuto, Bosch was scheduled to stay throughout the taping of the live broadcast. However, after the first part of the interview, Bosch supposedly left the set and never returned to finish the rest of the show, which was reportedly part of her commitments with Telemundo.

After Bosch left, hosts Lourdes Stephen and Carlos Adyan told the audience that she would not be continuing with the rest of the show.

In a later episode, Adyan gave a rundown of what happened.

"We performed the interivew and asked all the questions that the audience [was expecting]. I have to highlight that our commitment to the network... and to you is transparency. We seek answers to the questions," said Adyan in Spanish, translated to English.

He further said that while the hosts did ask Bosch about her work with the Miss Universe Organization, as well as her advocacy for female empowerment, they also warned her that there would be some hard-hitting questions.

The host was reportedly referring to the controversies surrounding Bosch's win, as well as the lawsuit filed against her by Miss Universe Thailand national director Nawat Itsaragrisil. Off-camera, according to Adyan, Bosch admitted to the hosts that she knew about the lawsuit and that her father was handling it.

"We were clear from the beginning. Even off-air, I told her that we had strong questions to elaborate [on]," said Adyan.

"[The questions] were asked with the respect that she deserves," he added.

Bosch has yet to publicly comment on the issue.

Bosch's Miss Universe 2025 win was shrouded by controversy from the start. A judge, who left the selection committee days before coronation night, alledged that an "impromptu jury" had already pre-selected the top 30 finalists ahead of the pageant. MUO president Raul Rocha has denied this.

About a week ago, Itsaragrisil sued Bosch for "false accusations," stemming from the Nov. 4 walkout staged by Bosch following a tense verbal tussle with Itsaragrisil during a preliminary event.
